Art Feel Good with Illustrator Louisa Marcq on 16th May + 13th June 2025, 2pm - 4pm.

Art Feel Good began in the small market town of Framlingham, rural Suffolk. It sprang out of the isolation of lockdown - the need to bring people back together in a nurturing, creative environment - and has grown from there.

Everyone needs a bit of time out. Art Feel Good provides a welcoming space to relax and try a little self-expression through art. Each guided lesson aims to bring enquiry, experimentation and fun to the group so that by the end of our sessions we all Feel Good. Or at least a great lot better than we did before. 

Louisa Marcq has been illustrating for 25 years and works from her studio near Southwold in Suffolk.

She works in ink, with a watercolour wash on watercolour paper. Her illustrations are light & jolly and often compared with her hero Quentin Blake. She captures the good side of life and makes houses, interiors and landscapes look much better than in reality.

Humour and artistic license are in abundance.
