Much of her work reflects her interest in how we respond to the interconnectedness between the human and non-human worlds. She has designed objects and installations that explore ideas found in scientific journals, in an attempt to bring a physicality to scientific ideas. Her work Listening for Water is a ceramic and sonic installation exploring the notion that plants can hear running water.

During her residency she will further develop her work Rubbish Glazes, which is a material investigation into glazes made from burnt domestic rubbish. The work explores the relationship we have with the things we throw away and reflects on how what we throw away, never really leaves us.
A more indepth view can be found at her website or on her Instagram.
Raised in Scotland, Hannah is a graduate of The University Arts and Design, Geneva (HEAD) where she obtained a Masters in Space and Communication Design. She holds an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Glasgow in Politics.
